Update on my original review.
I had been here now a few times with many friends and must say that these people ROCK.
The staff accommodates my "picky" custom food requests and the attention to your table is up to par !
I have had a few dishes mode'd to my likes and they turned out great.
I am not much a fan to state about my dishes, but the kitchen is great and the ambience is nostalgic and romantic (not me).
The outdoor seating is comfortable and the place is kept up well in many ways.
If you visit Castle Rock, Z'Abbracci is the place to pick and enjoy a nice time out with friends.
Salute !

This restaurant is highly recommended. The food is excellent - great flavors, inspired take on classic dishes, and the price is great for the quality of food. They have amazing risotto served in a multitude of varieties - with lobster, mushrooms, chicken, etc. Their pizza has a nice sized crust - not too thin or thick. The sauce is spot-on with its kick of heat. The toppings are plentiful. Overall, this was the best pizza I have had in Castle Rock. As a finale to the delicious meal, the tiramisu is phenomenal. We will certainly be going back.

Z'Abbracci provided me and my group with a really top notch experience. The waitress was helpful, attentive, and kind. I got the Chicken Parmesan Fettuccine; it was excellent and very nicely plated. Other people in my group got the Herb Roasted Wild Mushroom Risotto, Lasagna Bolognese, and Stout Braised Short Rib Risotto. They were also very pleased with their food. Top-notch garlic bread is also important to me when I get Italian food, and this place has it. They also have really well priced lunch specials. Z'Abbracci is definitely worth a visit.

Spent a bit of money on incredibly watery and under seasoned food. Service was good but not fantastic. If you're wondering if this is one of those Italian places that has too much on the menu to have any one good dish, you are right. We let out server know the food was not prepared right and he let us know there were new line cooks and offered us a free dessert which was nice but we would have rather had seasoned food.
