I have been to many of The Lost Cajun locations in Colorado and Texas. I have never been disappointed with the food. The red beans and rice, the chicken and sausage gumbo, the jambalaya, catfish and alligator have always been great. At this particular location I would really like to commend my waitress, Bergyn. She was the only person working the front of the restaurant because nobody else showed up for work. All during the time I was there she stayed busy acting as a server, busser, greeter, cashier and all around fantastic person. You could tell she was getting tired near the end of her shift but she never stopped smiling and being friendly. She always acted professional even when she would have been justified in complaining that nobody else showed up for work. She is one in a million and deserves a raise.
The seafood based Cajun cuisine menu has the variety (gumbo, jambalaya, and fish, sausage, and shrimp plates) from which to select. Today, I had the chicken and sausage gumbo which was excellent. The sausage is slightly spicy, and the gumbo is served with toasted, buttered bread.
Amazing and super yummy. Fast and friendly service
The catfish was very tasty and I don't really care for most restaurants who prepare catfish. The other items we got were very good i.e. shrimp oysters and fries.
Love the owners Nikki and her husband also great food! Fried okra, catfish, and shrimp already best in Denver
