This is among the best of the best for dining in the Castle Pines and Castle Rock area, they host a lively atmosphere with a positive vibe and nightly specials including live music nights. The staff is absolutely the friendliest that you will ever encounter and make a point to greet you by name every time you come back (and you will be back, trust me)!
Their menu includes an excellent selection of traditional bar foods as well as tacos, burgers, and other hearty entrees which exceed the size and quality that you would expect from a neighborhood bar, but these guys do everything to the fullest. The drinks are extremely reasonably priced and always poured generously, and the community here is amazing - just case everything else wasn’t enough already.
I could say a lot more about how awesome Berg Haus is but do yourself a favor and stop in to experience it for yourself, I don’t have the words to explain how truly awesome this place is!

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at the Berg Haus. Brandi and Tara were wonderful with their communication before the party and even better during the event. Their attention detail made the party an absolute success. We didn't have to worry about a thing and we were able to enjoy our selves.
The food and drinks were just as good. The Food was always hot and available, and the drinks were flowing. Nobody left hungry or thirsty.
Thank you so much for making our celebration a very memorable night!

Came in for the first time with a group of friends and immediately was greeted by seven children screaming, running and chasing each other. It was hard to even get in the door. No parental supervision whatsoever. But that’s all fine. We came in for their happy hour and ordered all our drinks and food off the happy hour menu and when the check came, we reminded the waitress that she had not honored the happy hour pricing. She lied and said that a few of the drinks were more expensive because my friend had ordered cranberry juice. The waitress then aggressively grabbed our receipts and ran off. When we spoke with the assistant manager, we simply asked her to please correct this pricing and mentioned how we didn’t appreciate the waitresses behavior when we simply were asking for the correct prices on our bill. She also verified that there is absolutely no extra charge for cranberry juice. Kindly, but not expected, the assistant manager comped our entire bill. She was very apologetic, and we appreciated the comp, but that wasn’t the issue. Our waitress never came back to our table after she had stormed off. We were all enjoying our drinks and playing trivia, when the owner came over to our table and was obviously drunk and aggressively told us that he doesn’t usually comp bills over a minor mistake. We told him we didn’t ask, nor expect the bill to be free. WE JUST WANTED THE HAPPY HOUR PRICES! The owner then told us if we don’t want to come back, then he wouldn’t be bothered. It was very odd and made us all feel very uncomfortable. He then returned to his table with his friends, and our waitress and were obviously speaking badly of our group.
It was a very odd experience. The owner was just another face in the restaurant getting drunk to the point where we didn’t know he was the owner until he approached us. I believe a lot of friends and neighbors of the owner must frequent the place. So be aware, that they all stick together and don’t try to calmly approach an issue. They all act very childish and then basically treat you so poorly to ensure you do not come back.
Lastly, they do not have safe distancing rules and no one obeys the mask mandate when walking around the restaurant. There was vomit on the women’s restroom floor, layers of dirt on the toilet and the food and mixed drinks are subpar. I was really excited to try this new local business but we will never go back and we will not be recommending this place to anyone. I do not understand how this restaurant is still in business. His friends must keep him financially afloat.

Great food, good drinks. Had an issue with the tab which honestly wasn't a big issue to us. We just wanted it fixed. Our server left rude and came back with our fixed tabs. We paid but we had our tabs comped for our issues which wasn't our intentions at all. Before they comped I left a nice tip for our waitress. Towards the end of the night I'm assuming the owner came up to us and said something to us about not coming back (which we intended to) kinda awkwardly and apologized but seemed above the influence. Turned around and saw him drinking at the bar. This place is awesome and like I said I plan on coming back because we live in the area but the experience left my group kinda wondering what was happening after the owner guy came and talked to us.
