This is my second review but after years of eating here, I feel that Sawara deserves a recent second round of kudos. They managed to remain open during the pandemic which may have actually saved my life (ok I'm being dramatic but honestly, it was always a bright spot to go pick up our sushi during a dark time). We have consistently gotten to-go from them now for quite a while - it's our Sunday night ritual pretty much twice a month. I cannot say enough positive things about the owners who go out of their way to be friendly, accommodate substitution requests, not to mention making clean, delicious, affordable sushi. We look forward to trying new rolls every time and our menu has some serious miles on it (attached). ...I think it might be time to pick up a new one! Bottom line: if you want great variety, great sushi, great value & to feel appreciated for your business, go to Sawara!! I heard they will not be open on Sun/Mon for now due to not having a sushi chef so I hope this gets resolved soon most importantly because how else will we be able to say "See you tomorrow" - on Saturday??!! Thanks, guys for providing Castle Rock a great option for sushi and for being great people. LOVE YOU MORE!
Excellent sushi place! We always get our sushi from Sawara. They have a very nice menu, ranging from your basic sushi rolls like salmon, spicy salmon, etc, and getting adventurous too. Price ranges are very reasonable and the staff always seems so happy when you call in, despite the pandemic. We have ordered through Door Dash and using their app too, so there's plenty of ways to get your sushi fix!
Everything thing here is always really good! Everyone working behind the counter is always happy, smiling and having a good time, and always friendly. See you tomorrow!! 😁
Worth the money. Got the large party platter, and everything was amazing. Never have I sat down before with a few friends and ate 100 dollars of sushi in 15 minutes but I don't regret it. Will be back 100%
The sushi here is delicious and very reasonably priced. Curb side pickup is easy and efficient. They have a good variety of rolls and my kids love their food.
