One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in Colorado. The restaurant itself is elegant and beautiful. The staff is welcoming and highly professional. The food was outstanding, flavorful and authentic. The enchilada sauce was as good as my Mexican Grandma used to make and that was such a surprise to be reminded of her cooking that she took such care with. I also worked in 5 star rated restaurants so I know quality and La Loma gives you an experience from start to finish. My new favorite restaurant!
This was the second time my wife and I ate at La Loma. The first time time we didn't have reservations so we sat at the bar. We loved it. We decided to take our daughter and her husband there for their first time there. What would have been a five star event turned not so five star. The view there is awesome and the food, at least what I had (steak and shrimp fajitas) was amazing. Everyone else had chicken fajitas. The next day the three with the chicken ended up with food poisoning! My wife called the restaurant to let them know and they dismissed it saying there is no way to know it was from there. Excuse me, I think we would know as that was the only time we had eaten with them in more than a week and only those with chicken got sick! My advice, if you go there and get chicken have it cooked very well done!
Beautiful views through the floor to ceiling windows. Nice outdoor waiting area with fire pits overlooking the mountains. Excellent food and drinks and the staff is very friendly. My wife and I had the mesquite grilled shrimp with chicken and cheese enchilada. Very tasty 😋. Great place to share with family or that special occasion.
My boyfriend and I were very excited to go try La Loma. We got there around 12:30 and was told it would be 15min wait, which we were fine with. An hour later we still hadn’t gotten any notification that a table was ready for us so we left to go somewhere else. Still haven’t gotten any notification. Update to management: We never got a notification, very disappointed. Update: we we’re finally able to go and it’s just not worth it, it’s over priced for mediocre food.
We have been dying to go to La Loma. It is beautiful and has a phenomenal view. We loved the salsa and the Margaritas. My husband had chimichangas. He liked them. I had shredded chicken burritos. It was very dry. I rarely complain but when I was asked how our meal was I was honest. They offered to pay for our meal which we declined and paid. I just hope it is better next time if we decide to go back.
